Printmaking

Artist Statement:

This was one of my favorite art projects because it allowed creativity (something I didn't know I had). First, I mixed together different colors of tempera paint together. Then on the top picture I used lemons, onions, and Triscuit crackers to do some stamping. With the bottom picture I took some burlap and painted right on the burlap then rubbed my white piece of paper on it and pulled it off. The only thing I would change for next time is to not use so much paint. The "stamp" areas that looked best were done with the least amount of paint.
