Artist Statement:
Well I must say this project turned out to look a lot better than I thought! I didn't know if the paint mixed with dish soap over the top would smear the oil pastels beneath on the watercolor paper. But to my surprise it did not! I was feeling adventurous enough to try a few new mediums with this project including a fork, a spoon, and a dull pencil for scratching. It ended up being a hoorah!
